The HOUSE
The house is surrounded by a beautiful park that was built in 1925. Much later, it was a Montessori type school.
We hosted some students who came to see their school and described the happy times they had here. We do not know the reasons why this project was abandoned by the organizers of the school, who then lived in the house with their big family.
What was left of the property was put back on sale in 1999 and we were happy to be able to buy it.
Renovation work began in February 2000 to accommodate our first guests the following summer.
The house was built in 1925 and retains this idea of a family home to which we hold dear. While adding our personal touch, we tried to preserve the materials of time: ocher yellow, here is our color! enhanced with brick red.
No two similar window frames and a wonderful bougainvillea hanging on the outside facade, in which some turtle doves nest.
The garden and swimming pool to the south, the secure parking surrounded by bamboo and other Mediterranean plants to the north.
Apart from the comfortable and colorful rooms, we offer a large and cozy living room (fireplace, piano & library) and a games room with a pool table.
Some objects inherited or found in antique shops, some works of art or copies, make our decoration a joyful and interesting blend reminiscent of our family spirit.

“Serenità allo stato pure”
Siamo stati ospiti nel mese di maggio per un week end. Subito accolti da una gentilissima madame che ci ha messo a nostro agio con gentilezza e disponibilità. La maison è immersa nel verde, in un contesto meraviglioso di ville residenziali, una zona alta di Cagnes sur Mer molto tranquila e intima. La nostra camera era dotata di ogni comfort, con bagno riservato, e un balcone uno. Comoda e molto pulita. Tutta la maison è affascinante per architettura, colori delle pareti e dei pavimenti, materiali diversi quasi a contrasto tra loro. Ogni dettaglio di questa casa attira l’attenzione. La colazione, ricca e completa di ogni cosan è preparata dalla proprietaria ogni mattina con cura e pulizia. Ottimi i cornetti francese e le marmelatte preparate dalla padrona di casa. Piacevole la compagnia discreta ed educata dei proprietari. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Esperienza fantastica. Consigliatissimo.
